“And I got twisted at Twisted Taco Saturday night! Heading down 85 towards my current obsession, fondly known as Mid Town, Saturday night I was looking for something warm and fun to do. Yeah! This could go in a million directions from that phrase alone! Ha! Get your mind out of the gutter you perverts!
Why not Twisted Taco?!?!?!?! Hellz yeah!!! I had never been (except for a very bad so called grand opening experience in Roswell) to Twisted Taco but had heard lots about it. We get to the door and the place is bumping and thumping and jumping! 5 bucks for guys to get in and free for the ladies was the phrase from the guy at the door. HUH?!?!?!?! What does 5 bucks get me? In the door! Ha! Ok, paid my 5 bucks and went inside.
The place was jam packed! The DJ in the corner was pumping out some phat tunes so I immediately started to bob as I made my way through the crowd to the bar. We grabbed a few beers and headed upstairs. No wonder the place was so packed!!! The morning mess crew from STAR 94 was there hosting karaoke that night. Marco, Shannon and Super Fat Mikey were hanging out working the crowd from corner stage.
Some people should karaoke and some people should NOT. There were plenty of people there this night that should NOT.......ever. But it was all in the spirit of good clean fun and I had to claim my fair share of it! We grabbed a few more beers and found ourselves front row for the night's festivities. There were renditions of everything, including selections from Vanilla Ice's Ice, ice baby to good old Brittney "catastrophe" Spears being sang. HAHAHAHAHAAHA~!!! The bad thing is...... I couldn't't help but to sing right along with it all.
Every level of Twisted was full of beautiful people; seriously guys and dolls, if you are single and looking to mingle, THIS is the place to go. Lot's of ladies dancing, bouncing and gyrating to the tunes and lots of guys for them to dance with. Everyone seemed very nice and looked like they were having a great time.
While it was just little Laura and I on this night, I can't WAIT!!! To go back here with a big group of friends! It's so much fun! Just her and I. Now I did hear that the food here is really good and that during the week, the place resembles something close to a deserted town. Either way, I'll still try the food and certainly get my azz twisted at Twisted Taco. ”
